Is my daughter too young to wax her eyebrows?

My daughter is 10 years old and will soon be 11. She looks so much like a blond hair barbie doll that it's almost unreal but her eyebrows are a little uni-brow and they are a bit bushy. IS she too young? She'll be in 6th grade. Is my daughter too young to wax her eyebrows?
I don't think soIs my daughter too young to wax her eyebrows?
I think u should let her, if u dont, she mite feel like she is getting made fun of and stuff like that. If u feel she is still to young then make her pay for it herself (teaching her a lil responsiblity too)
Yeah, she's too young

But if she's self conscious about it, she could twease them.
No. My daughter is in 6th and she does it. I felt the same way at first, but the stylist assured me that it is very common and safe.
Nope. If you start now eventually the hair won't grow back anymore, which will save her having to keep it up. But that will be over years to come.
Go to your beautician and have them waxed. You will both feel better.
too young
she's too young. consult a pediatrician for more info.
She's not to young but only do it if she asked to have them done, not because you want her too.
Well, it is something she'll have to start dealing with forever, once she starts and she might not realize that.

How about just plucking the middle part for now, and when she's a teen, let her decide is she wants to start waxing.

Good luck!
Well maybe, You should probably just tweeze the brows in the middle where she gets the unibrow. And you could also ';cleanup around the brow'; just to take away a little of the weight. Don't change th natural shape of her brows.
the first time i got my eyebrows waxed i was 12 years old. it stings a little, so the pain isn't a big deal. i think it depends on how your daughter feels. 6th grade is the beginning of junior high. image starts to become a very impotant aspect for 11 and 12 year olds so i don't think it's too much of a problem.

Good Luck!
think about the type of person she'll be attracting if you make her look even more like a Barbie doll. She's too young to wear make-up, so I would say she's too young to wax her eyebrows.
shes not too young
if your daughter has approached you, asking if she could wax her eyebrows then i would definitely go ahead and do it. If this was your idea i would hold off until your daughter comes up to you. Most of the time after several months of waxing, the hair normally becomes finer and waxing will need to be done less often. Your daughter must understand if she starts waxing her eyebrows she will have to continue.
I definitely think so!!! At ten? If you let her do this, are you going to let her start shaving, too? well, wait a sec, I was started shaving in 6th grade, so that's okay in my book!

Has she asked to wax her eyebrows?

if not, DO NOT worry about it, no prob!!!!

If she has, then just tell her she is to young and can wait till 8th grade.

plus, you only said they are a little bushy. that is hardly a reason to let your daughter wax.

Just my opinion.
ask her. if she wants to do this, then by all means, support her. if she has not brought it up, let it go. let her be a child until she is ready to be a young adult.

there is a very good book i read (since I have three young daughters) and it was very helpful.

it is called Revisiting Ophelia.

you might want to pick it up at a barnes and noble or some such.

it will give you a different perspective on your daughter.
