If I get my eyebrows waxed, do I have to continue it? What would happen if I just got them waxed once?

They grow back after about two to three weeks unless you get them laseredIf I get my eyebrows waxed, do I have to continue it? What would happen if I just got them waxed once?
if you only get them done once your eye brows will grow back thicker that's why i get mine done every 4 weeks.If I get my eyebrows waxed, do I have to continue it? What would happen if I just got them waxed once?
Getting them done once professionally is a great way to get a nice shape established. You can clean up strays as they come in by tweezing. Once you have them waxed though, you get addicted to the polished look. Plus there are baby fine white hairs that grow in and create a slight shadow. Waxing will keep up the shape by removing the strays and the baby fines in ONE step rather than the multi pin pricks of tweezing! Just don't get them waxed too thin. They will be less upkeep that way.
you don't have to continue if you use that as a stencil and pluck the stray hairs. but once you get them done once it just becomes so much easier to keep doing it that way.
um.. they will grow back.

but i just got mine waxed once, then used tweezers to keep up after the appointment. the first waxing is just good for the shaping. it's easy to maintain after that.
If you get your brows waxed you don't exactly ';have'; to continue them if you don't want to. But your brows are gonna eventually grow back. If you wax them once there's a good chance that they'll grow right back. REMEMBER there are more ways to clean up those pesky brows ;].

There are multiple ways 2 thin out those brows:

* Traditional Plucking

* Waxing

* Eyebrow Stenciling

* Threading

If you are plucking...

* while plucking pluck in the direction of you natural eyebrow growth (like if your plucking your right eyebrow pluck in the RIGHT direction)

* while plucking make sure that when you pluck, you pluck your WHOLE hair out (you can tell when you've fully plucked it out if you see a black bulb @ the end of the follicle, if it's white then you did NOT fully pluck it out)

* if your eyebrows are too short 2 pull completely out then I suggest you use a presicion point tweezer instead of the scissor tweezer :P)

If you are waxing...

* i suggest that if you wax you go 2 a salon, since things can get messy

* while waxing remember 2 put GENEROUS amounts of wax in the neccessary areas (if you put 2 much on, it can drip across your face and even in your hair so be careful)

* while waxing spread your wax using a popsicle stick instead of a q-tip (the cotton from the q-tip gets in the wax and it makes it harder 2 wax)

If you are stenciling...

* while stenciling be sure 2 pick the right arch that your brows are (i suggest that you get your eye brows measured @ a place like sephora so u can c whether you have a low or high arch)

* while stenciling be sure to PLUCK IN THE SPECIFIED AREA (if your hands slip there can be a bit of a problem..)

* if you're still a teen don't be shy 2 ask one of your parents 4 help (trust me, sometimes this is the best option)

If you are threading...

* this can only be done @ a salon by proffesionals but it is commonly offered in beauty salons and haircut studios

Hope this helped!!

you don't have to wax them again. When the stray hairs grow back just pluck them with tweezers so that you keep the shape that they waxed them but you won't have to pay for another session. The only way you'lll have to get them waxed again is if you wait too long to tweeze the new ones and then lose the original arc but that will take awhile for it to get that out of hand any way.
You don't have to get them waxed again, if you like the way they looked however, you'll have to do some plucking to keep them that way. You can just pull the stray hairs with tweezers (it's easier when your face is warm like after a shower). If you don't keep up with it, they will eventually just grow back to the way they were before the initial waxing.
