I got my eyebrows waxed and its still red?

how can i reduce the redness?I got my eyebrows waxed and its still red?
Thats normal. Your skin must be sensitive. Use a small ice pack or cold cloth, that will reduce the swelling.I got my eyebrows waxed and its still red?
Step1 Apply an ice pack to the waxed area for a few minutes after the treatment. Not only will this reduce the redness associated with the waxing, but it will also reduce the discomfort that usually accompanies the procedure.

Step2 Rub on some tea tree oil, which comes from an Australian tree. It is known for its medicinal purposes, including getting rid of inflammation, healing wounds and the easing of pain. It is perfect for taking the discomfort out of waxing and lessening redness.

Step3 Dab witch hazel on the affected area after your waxing. Among its other wonderful benefits, this natural astringent is known to possess healing properties and has been shown to be an effective way to reduce redness.

Step4 Use an antiseptic cream or lotion that heals, cools and soothes the skin after waxing. Drugstore.com has a number of choices.

Step5 Refrain from taking hot showers or baths for several hours following your waxing, as hot water tends to be an irritant to the skin. You should also avoid getting in the water at the beach, as the salt also irritates tender skin.

Step6 Take a couple of antacids such as Rolaids or Tums before your waxing treatment. It is surmised that antacids may block histamines and thus reduce redness.

:)
Use a toner. They should have told you wherever you got it done! Waxing changes the pH of your skin. You must change your pH back to normal by using a toner on it. It will immediately cool down the redness and return your skin's pH back to normal.
you can put a cool cloth on it and some lotion or baby powder, if the reddness doesn't go away in a few hours or you develop a rash then you are having an allergic reaction so put some allergy cream on it or take some benadryll.
leave at least 24 hrs before applying anything as can cause rash spots or clogg skin area that has been waxed after clean area and apply aloe vera
lmao...I'm a redhead with really sensitive skin....when I get my eyebrows waxed they are red for atleast 24 hours. So when you find out how to reduce the redness...let me know. :)
