When i get my eyebrows waxed i breakout in that area and its red for a couple days any way to prevent this?

This happens to me too and its so annoying because it seems by the time its cleared up i need to do them again!


If you get your eyebrows waxed at a salon the best way to prevent breaking out is to not wear any make up, moisturizer, anything like that around your eyebrows before you go and for at least a day after you get them done. The makeup will get inside the little place where your hair used to be and that will make you break out.


Also, some salons will put some make up on where the redness is or you may be tempted to put some on yourself. Dont let them. Youll be happy you didnt.


Secondly, exfoliate the area once you can do it without it hurting. This is really important especially to prevent ingrown hairs and stuff like that. Just get a wet face cloth and rub gently or use an exfoliating cream if you have one.

your skin is probably just sensitive from the waxing, so make sure you moisturize your skin immediately after waxing. in other words, just put some lotion on your skin.When i get my eyebrows waxed i breakout in that area and its red for a couple days any way to prevent this?
