It does... but it's real quick. and after the area feels kind of hot and may throb a bit, but it's so worth it.. It sound worse than it is.. after you leave you wouldn't really notice it anymore because you're too busy admiring them in any mirror you can find. :) What to expect: 1. Someone will lay you on a bed or sit you in a chair. 2. prep your eyebrows with baby power 3. Apply the warm wax (which feels really great) 4. Apply a cloth strip and rip it off (not so great) 5. Put on a cooling liquid (which also feels great after step 4) 6. then she does the other eye brow 7. You pay usually about $6-12 8. Don't forget to tip a couple bucks!
Hope your dad lets you!Waxing ur eyebrows?
SHe'S ONLY 12 FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!!!!!
let her be natural!!!!
and yes.... it doezz hurt. specially if u hav thick eyebrowzz!
wait! I say u wait! like I sed b4
depends on how coarse your hairs are and if u have a lot of eyebrow or if they are thin. My moms are thin and she doesn' have alot so hers don't hurt. One of my old friends on the other hand... LOL... she came out with tears and red puffy eyebrows. They stay red and puffy for the rest of the day too. Hers hurt pretty bad. I've never had mine done. I'm afraid that someone will do them wrong and then I'll look horrible for a month while they grow in little by little. Good luck!
Stacy P, What is threading? Oh.. found it.. http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-eyebrow-鈥?/a>
Interesting
yes it hurts- try threading- it hurts less
well, for me not really it just depends on your skin type, some people are more sensitve to wax than others, your sister will be fine, and besides if it does hurt at least she knows not to try it again
it stings a little bit,but isn't she too young to think about getting her eyebrows waxed
dont wax your eyebrows, because after a couple of years of pulling at the skin around there it will make your eyes wrinkle.
Yes it hurts but for a brief second.
Waxing any part of your body hurts more or less depending on how much you are waxing at one time. Doing your eyebrows is going to hurt a lot less than a strip of your legs. Anyways, it hurts for maybe two seconds and then its over.
nah doesnt really hurt at all. and its over in like 2 seconds anyways. has she plucked already though? cause if she hasnt and they are big and bushy it might hurt a bit more. its definetly worth it though. just go do it and find out for yourself.
Well it doesn't exactly hurt...but it isn't the greatest feeling in the world either! I would say getting your eyebrows waxed is kind of like pulling a bandaid off of your arm when it gets stuck to the hair there.
she's too early to wax her eyebrow. Off course, it hurts a bit.
why doesn't she just ask?
It depends on your tolerance for pain. I have medium tolerance. It doesn't hurt drastically but remember the wax is ripping out thousands of hair follicles. So there is a slight OUCH! and then some stinging afterwards. But its only for a second and remember: Beauty is pain!
sure why not?
It can hurt a little. The most important thing is make sure the person knows what they're doing, pay a little extra and go to a reputable salon or spa. It takes forever to correct a waxing mistake (ingrown hairs, change in hair growth pattern, etc) . You have more control with tweezing or threading and less redness. If you still want to wax and have low pain tolerance request they use a numbing agent like no scream cream or in a pinch anbesol works well.
Yeah it hurts, you look like a big dummy who has red puffy eyebrows, you look dumb, and you are all icky and swollen! Don't do it, be happy with your bushy/ugly/weird/long/whatevertheheckthe鈥?eyebrows!!!!
