Whats better waxing or plucking eyebrows?

i've always had them plucked, but my therapist said waxing will look cleaner and neater, but will it leave a mark afterwards if so how long for, and how long do the hairs have to be?!Whats better waxing or plucking eyebrows?
plucking because waxing makes a really obvious red mark and hurts a lot more than plucking.

If you continue to pluck, spray hairspray onto an old toothbrush and rub against the way the hair grows. It reduces the pain majorly.

If you start to wax, take two pain killers half and hour befre having them waxed and do it professionally.

The hairs won't grown back for around 2 months but the mark will stay for between 2 weeks and a month.

The hairs would have to be at least half a centimetre long before i would wax them in my salon, so i reckon you would be fine.Whats better waxing or plucking eyebrows?
Waxing is better because it lasts longer. It does not leave a mark if it is done correctly. Make sure you go to someone reputable. It can be done every 4 to 6 weeks.
Waxing is a lot quicker and less unconfortable than plucking. If the hairs are long enough to pluck, they are long enough to wax. The beautician will put some soothing cream on afterwards which helps to calm the redness - mine usually calms down after a couple of hours.
Plucking is so much better. My friend had hers waxed and was left with a ridiculous red patch on both eyes for a few days bless her.
NONE! neither is permanent. have electrolysis or laser treatments. But they are expensive.
get them threaded
you go to a therapist for your eyebrows?
wax them first then you could pluck them to keep them neat
waxing

it kinda stings but it does a nicer job

the the stragglers you get with the tweezers in between waxes
The red marks won't stay there for very long. Anything from about 1-2 hours.

Hairs only have to be long enough for the wax to stick, i can't really give any length on which is best
no no no NEITHER !

waxing rips off a layer of skin, and causes wrinkles and aging.

Go get them threaded. trust me. its so accurate and looks great.

but you can pluck them, too i guess. its accurate, but slow and doesn't last as long.
hairs have to be 1/8th of an inch long to be waxed...so one of the problems with waxing is you have to let them grow out a little bit each time... waxing does have a clean look to it, it will not leave a mark...usually the area that is waxed will be red for a an hour or so depending on how sensitive your skin is...usually a waxer will still pluck some of your hairs out that didn't get picked up with the wax.... i think a really good thing to do is let your eyebrows grow out completely for a month or however long you think it takes, then go to a good waxer and have them get the right shape for you....then you just keep it up with tweezers and only go back to get it waxed when you really feel like you need it
waxing is better
okay well i would let them grow out

til you can get a really good arch or whatever

type of brow you want.

go to a salon and get it waxed

they will do it very nice, unless your a pro

it took me a while to learn how to wax my eyebrows good, because the first time i did it i grabbed too much hair

and well you know, it kinda all came off, well most of it anyways. =x

so i would have a salon do them for the first time

then either pluck it as the little hairs come back in. or lift your brow up with your finger before placing your own at home wax, when it starts to come back in, that way you wont grab the hair that was already there, just the hair thats coming in. thats what i did.
I prefer having mine waxed, a lot quicker and neater than plucking. I've had very short ones waxed and they have come out fine. After waxing it is slightly pink in the area for about half an hour afterwards.
I have had both done you do get a neater job with waxing, but unfortunately i had a bad reaction to the wax so i am stuck to plucking mine now.
Well, with the mark afterwards it's only from the paper being pull off the skin, like a bandade. Waxing is more effective and will last longer. Don't worry about the mark afterward. It'll last 1 minute at longest.

Hope I helped!
