Do they wax your eyebrows before they tattoo them?

How much does it usually cost?

Do they look fine? Has anyone done it here?Do they wax your eyebrows before they tattoo them?
As a Makeup Artist I've seen many an eyebrow, lol...have you considered just dying them? If you want them darker, are tired of filling them in or don't like the look of the gray eyebrow hair that age brings, dying usually resolves this. The downside of tattooing, even if you find an expert at tattooing eyebrows, is that tattoo ink fades over time to blue/gray color. The ink also ';creeps';, so you lose that edge on the original tattoo. And, as you age, your eyebrows tend to get sparse which would make the tattoo all that more obvious. I do love the idea of not having to fill in my eyebrows everyday, and I've looked into permanent eyeliner, lipliner and lipcolor for myself and some of my clients; but I have to say, even the cases that looked really good at first, changed over time, with age. And then they looked bad, even if the tattoo artist had done a fantastic job to start with. It's permanent and our body isn't, our body changes unpredictably. My advice is to forgo the permanent makeup and find other ways to resolve your beauty issues. I'd be happy to advise you (obviously for free) if you want to email me. Whatever you choose, I wish you the best. :DDo they wax your eyebrows before they tattoo them?
You should have your eyebrows shaped ahead of time but I have known cosmetic artists assist in shaping at the time of tattooing. It should not be waxing unless done at least 72 hours prior to the tattooing.

If you have a consultation, this is the best time to come up with a game plan regarding the existing brow hairs. We are talking only about strays...the brow hairs stay in place during the tattooing. Never let anyone completely remove them for the tattoo process.

Starting fees are about $300 on up depending on location and experience. You will get a lot more information from a qualified artist - best to look here and then go to their websites...

View photos of work that is done by the artist themselves and be sure you like it...otherwise you run the risk of not liking their style, etc. This is something that experience plays a huge part. Stay out of nail salons!

Edit notes...I have tattooed thousands of eyebrows with a worldwide client base...no, it does not look awful when done the right way.

More edit notes: Only bad eyebrow inks turn blue gray which is why I said to stay out of nail salons. Yes they fade, but the touch ups are inexpensive at every couple of years and many women really like to know that they lighten to a lighter version of what was tattooed over time. There are color change choices, then.
yes ma'am...

but PEASE DONT GET YOUR EYEBROWS TATTED ON YOU THE UGLY AND LOOKS HIDIOUS!!!!

YOU SHOULD JUST GET THE WAXED OR THREADED!!!!
I'v never had them done or known anyone who's got them done (im only 14!). But i do know that they would most likely permanently remove the hair with laser before getting the tattoos.
