Do I really need to leave a tip eevery time I go to get my eyebrows waxed or my hair done?

You can if you want to, but they should not expect it. I rarely leave a tip because i feel that sometimes they expect it. That is their job nobody forced them to do anyones hair or eyebrows. I hate when people feel that they are granted something. If you feel that they are being funny towards you because you don't leave a tip, find a new hair dresser. A great hair dresser is not determined how well they tip but how great their services are. If you feel like you are being obligated to give a tip, then maybe they need a new job that pays. Their job should not be based on tips.Do I really need to leave a tip eevery time I go to get my eyebrows waxed or my hair done?

Yes you do...Thats where they make there money.....I would assume if you can afford to get your eyebrows waxed then you can afford a tip.
Depends on whether they do a good job or not.
You should if you want good service when you go back.
Let me ask you this? Would you want a tip everytime you did someones hair or eyebrows?
If the person performing the job in a salon is the owner you do NOT need to tip. The owner receives a cut (sometime the majority of the income) from services performed by others within the salon. This is why tipping is so important for salon staff who are severely underpaid and depend on their tips for income. HOWEVER: If you do not want to tip because you are receiving subpar service you should do something about it. Tell the owner you were displeased (and why) or simply use a different salon. My standard tip scale is:

eyebrow wax - $1-2 for average services, $2-5 for exceptional

hair - $1-3 for the wash girl, for the stylist: $2-5 for average services in a regular (mid-level salon), $5-10 for exceptional service (mid-level salon), $5-10 for average service (high-end salon), $10-20 for exceptional service (high-end salon)
yep.

don't be a cheapass.... people will hate you.

Edit:

um, ';MizbabyMix'; is just wrong.

yes, they DO expect a tip... you're supposed to tip for services.... i bet you don't tip more because you're a brokeass.
