Can I wax my eyebrows without my mom?

Okay i want to get my eyebrows waxed cause they are really bushy. And i just want to go with my friend. Is this possible? I am 13 if that helps. Thank you in advance!Can I wax my eyebrows without my mom?

you can go if a professional is doing it...it's not like against the law or anything (at least not in new york). ive been going alone to get mine threaded since i was 14..just make sure the person you go to is somebody you trust and have gone to before. but, i would strongly suggest going with your mom if it's your FIRST time because she can help you determine what kind of shape you want your eyebrows to have and she can perhaps explain it to the lady better, and watch while the lady is doing it.
Yep, there is nothing wrong with going to the salon to get your eyebrows done with a friend and w/your mom

I believe I only go with my mom bc if she sees that the lady is waxing hairs that I don't want them wax, then she tells her...
yup, I've done it before you just need the money and tell them you just want them shaped and cleaned up a little and it's all good. And it doesn't hurt. The first one does a little but then your used to it. The wax is a little hot too if your not used to it. But it's not bad at all overall. good luck hun;)

Most waxes you have to have a parent with you, but you could call ahead and ask.
Technically you have to be 16 to go without a parent or guardian. If they decide not to ask for ID I wouldn't trust them with my body!
I wouldn't think it would be a problem, it's not like getting a piercing or tattoo where you need parental consent.
